She’s tough as nails… even in pink. Queen Elizabeth made a special visit to Porton Down, the famous UK chemical weapons laboratory, in her first face-to-face appearance post lockdown. HRH wasn’t the only special guest though, Prince William lovingly joined his grandmother as they spoke to experts helping NHS tackle the coronavirus.

Less than 50 people were included in the appearance. Everyone that participated in the visit had to test negative for the coronavirus and had to social distance… which allowed the Queen to comfortably walk around in open air.

Throughout the engagement, the royals enjoyed a tour, spoke to military members, and the Duke of Cambridge presented several representatives of 102 Logistic Brigade the Firmin Sword of Peace.
